Apple intends to stay “nimble” on pricing of the iPad, possibly lowering prices if the newly unveiled tablet device fails to gain traction among consumers.

I suppose in a way this one is far from a shocker, given Apple’s history of iPhone price drops – but it feels like it’s ramped up a little further when we hear that Apple execs are apparently already discussing the possibility.

If you’re on the fence about getting an iPad right when it’s released, rumors like this one may have you leaning a bit more towards waiting.  I’m a Day 1 purchaser no matter what, but hey if they drop the price within 30 days and want to throw me a refund, I won’t say no. :)
