Disagree.
I think any smartphone will work better in this case than an iPad.
And the picture used in the article is also not a good one, how you can control iPad with one hand while taking a luggage in the other hand?
I appreciate your input. As for smart phone vs. iPad I still feel there are times waiting in line, waiting in a lobby, etc. where I wish I had something with more screen real estate. Re: luggage question – I would think he would put down the luggage to navigate just as he would to turn a page if he were reading a book.
